Basilika Sankt Gereon

The choir that Quinnie is in was asked to sing at a First Communion in Basilika Sankt Gereon. I’ve blogged about this beautiful church and it’s history before in this post. Quinnie and Kiera’s Great-Grandparents were married there, so it’s pretty cool that she gets to sing there occasionally. Oma, Opa, Tante Ruth and Maxim came to the service to support Quinnie also. I snapped a few photos with my iPhone…

It was standing room only downstairs so we checked out upstairs, where there were plenty of seats. Cool to see the church from another perspective also.

If you look closely you can see the choir near the middle/back of this photo (no zoom lens).

..and then headed to our place for brunch. It’s nice to have family around to celebrate the little (and big) things in life.
